P38 Courtesy lights not working .

Hi everyone hope you are all well , I have a problem with the interior courtesy lights on the car , when I open the drivers door they don't come on but they are still working when the passenger door is opened , I recon its the switch but where do I find it & can it be repaired ? PS , the new radiator is still ok 😉

There are microswitches in the lock assembly. One of those controls the courtesy lights, and they are know to fail. You can swap the entire lock, or try to repair/replace the switch.

Not that easy to get to, especially if it's the first time.

Hi Filip , is that the lock assembly that is in the handle or the latch assembly , IE :-  the latch half way down the side of the door ?
