Does anyone know whether Wolf style wheels are available in 16 x 8?

If not, are there any available which would accommodate a 285/75 r16 tyre (Cooper Discoverer STT)?

Many thanks!

Genuine XD steels are 6.5 inch wide, which BFG say is the minimum width for 255/85X16 tyres,

never seen any wider unless you have a set banded to 8 inch wide.

Indeed, Wolf or XD wheels are 16X6.5 ET21. The obvious choice for wider heels would be modulars, not to far off the look of a Wolf wheel. Or 8-spokes if you want to keep things affordable. Plenty of choices in alloys.

I have a similar problem, for my P38 that will also get 285/75R16s. My choices are limited, especially as I don't really like most of the stock alloys.

Ross (landroversforever) had a set of Wolf rims banded to suit some 37" tyres. They do look very nice.

Hope he will see this and provide info on the company that did the work.

Hello!

Mine were done by Banded Steel Wheels in Tiverton. £270+ VAT for the 5 if I remember correctly. It was about 3 or 4 years ago now. They did a fantastic job, I then had them coated locally.
