Just had a quick read and it is interesting that  more effective the corrosion protection = much more expense, they don't have any easy answers there either. I quite like the idea of silver plated fasteners though :)

We have an array of barrier materials that we use to try and get around/minimise corrosion, but in many cases, the only real "fix" is to regularly remove, inspect, retreat, reinstall to be really effective.
