defender dinky
hi all, just had my 110 91 reg front doors back from paint shop, i was wondering is it better to rehang the doors before i put the window, locks back on, or is it better on the bench, trouble is don't want to get them scratched, any ideas, dd
Mutley
Which ever way you prefer, doesn't really make a difference! Maybe easier to hang it first as it will be less weight to hold/balance while trying to hang after? defender dinky
yeah thinking about the weight, got my old doors with all the inards on still, just going to swop them over, never done any doors before is it just a case of undoing few nuts and everything slides out regarding the window with runners, second row doors are being done aswell still at paint shop thou, dd
ballcock
I would hang the doors first then fit the parts. Make sure you fit the latches first, if you are fitting new runners mark the frames where the self tappers go in and use the old runners as cutting templates. Take your time they aren't difficult just fiddly.

MR-HIPPO
I used woolies trim when I sorted my sliding rear side windows. https://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/category/341/single-track Edited July 24, 2019 by MR-HIPPO Who doesn't like a good fiddle.
