Blanco Posted July 13, 2019 Share Posted July 13, 2019 When I first saw this topic I resisted the obvious humour just in case it was a serious question (Its good that it didn't need me!) the answer I suspect is 'simples' it simply inherited it from the D1 and there wasn't any money in the budget to re-tool for a more contemporary 'look', D2 was done on a shoestring. JohnnoK Posted July 14, 2019 Share Posted July 14, 2019 Technically, the roof panel and the framing for the roof are spot welded all down the gutters, around 50-ish spots per side on my D2.
