simonr
After a lot of research, the joint with the largest angle of movement that I can find in the uk is: GM/Vauxhall BA0804 / QR3167S Which allows 37 degrees free movement in either direction. The thread on the taper is M12 x 1.5 pitch and on the shank is Female M14 x 1.5mm pitch. Both Right Hand. Since nobody seemed to be able to answer this question - I thought it would be a good thing to put on file! Si
FridgeFreezer
Good tech Si - where did you find the specs, is there a "big book of ends" or even a website? Could be handy to know.
dirtydiesel
Interesting tech. M14 is a little small though, i'm on M24 and i've still bent one.
simonr
John, Sadly, the angle isn't quoted. Even if you talk to a very helpful chap at Q&H, they have no idea! The only answer is to go to a shop & start opening boxes (A pack of choccy HobNobs does wonders). Interesting tech.M14 is a little small though, i'm on M24 and i've still bent one. You may be right - and on the joints intended to take a radial force, I intend adding an additional stop behind the cup to prevent it moving - just to be on the safe side!
