JMZ153 Posted October 12, 2019 Share Posted October 12, 2019 Hi guys. I’m not sure if this topic has been covered yet. I currently have a 1989 90 which is fitted with a hardtop. I’d like to convert it to a soft top and have a spare set of hood sticks from a series swb lying around. Will these fit on the 90? I’m aware that the horizontals will need to be made longer but will everything else fit, such as the frames over the doors? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Litch Posted October 12, 2019 Share Posted October 12, 2019 Windscreen is different so the windscreen rail (hooks on a Series but clamp in a 90/110) will not fit and the profile of the galvanised frames above the doors is different (curved on the 90/110). At the end of the day, you will have to find the correct fittings for your 90 but these are widely available new & secondhand so as long as you can get them shipped then you shouldn't have a problem obtaining them.
