steve b
There are anti-fog sprays on the market for bike helmets , I used to use a wipe of washing up liquid . Not tried it on my welding masks but it is a pain this time of the year , keeping the helmet warm would make a difference but who has a radiator on the workshop wall ? cheers Steve b
Stellaghost
Yes no radiator in my garage I work in the principal of work to stay warm if the garage was warm I'd probably want 40 winks lol regards Stephen Edited February 1, 2020 by Stellaghost
FridgeFreezer
Going off on a slight tangent, a standard cheapy 2-3kw Argos fan heater only costs pennies per hour to run and as long as your workshop isn't too draughty it's only got to come up a few degrees to make a surprising difference. lo-fi
I find breathing through my nose pretty much fixes that. Also, pop a dust mask on on days its really bad for steaming up. It seems to hold enough of the moisture and diffuse enough to stage off the fogĀ

Ed Poore
I must be getting old(er)...Ā Or weld faster and get more heat into everything. Was seriously impressed by how hot some 150x150x5 box got when I was stick welding it into gateposts.
