TBH if you plug the vac hose to the EGR actuator it might just "turn off" EGR with no blanking kit required... or you could clamp a 2P piece in the EGR hose takeoff :ph34r:

Mine was blanked for 160,000 miles and man MOT's and never had a problem. I completely removed the vac hose as mine had a hole in it, I plumbed straight from the vac bottle to the turbo solenoid with 6mm push-fit air hose. The EGR solenoid is the same part# as the turbo actuator solenoid so handy to have a spare, although they seem pretty reliable.
