need4speed Posted February 5, 2020 Share Posted February 5, 2020 Extremely bored this am I checked some reg numbers from couple old cars I saw on tv. Used the tax check website. First was an old blue cavalier from Minder - that came back as a red Nissan. Then I checked a white Capri from The Professionals - that came back as a white DAF truck! miketomcat Posted February 5, 2020 Share Posted February 5, 2020 They probably weren't real originally, but yes you can transfer a reg number as long as it doesn't make the car it's going on to look newer and it's not non transferable for some reason (normally because it's been re-registered for some reason).
