to do the exact same thing on my boost and egt gauges do they don’t lose their colour and calibration.

 

just don’t leave it behind the dash where it can get dripped on.

I think that's what I needed.

I've bought a new head unit, a Pioneer. When that comes I'll fit it to see if the memory goes whilst starting. If not, I'll not need this unit.

I'll report back.

I've just looked at Amazon, these clocks are £60 plus each.
