sidvee24
I recently purchased a 1993 Defender 110. The VIN date code indicates it is a 1994 not 1993 (SALLDHMF7LA). It seems to be important to know the correct date to get parts etc. My thoughts are it was made in 1994 because of the front vented rotors and the rear disc, non-vented, rotors. Any info will be helpful.
western
Vented disc brake were an option, so the original buyer probably specced them when ordering the vehicle. Most likely a 1994 model year vehicle but built in late 1993, SALLDHMF7LA the L is the year identifier in this case 1994 here's a good VIN decoder https://www.firstfour.co.uk/land-rover-vin
Eightpot
Use the vin number to confirm parts rather than the year - aside from the disc brakes there's no other difference I can think of between 93 & 94 anyway? My 93 has rear discs btw.
