The exhaust manifold is very close to the engine mount and presumably there is a mod folk have done to get round this. If anyone has one I'd be grateful for a pic to pass on to him. Went to see him yesterday. What he's got is a 200 tdi with a 300 exhaust manifold (he says - I don't know as I have never looked into the diesel engine fitment). Thanks for your responses.
