Bigj66
Is the number that follows the V in brackets the engine number? I’m trying to find the right gaskets for my engine and there’s a few options.
Retroanaconda
It's the last digits of the VIN for the vehicle - basically the sequential build number.

Now, as I only have the engine here is there a way I can find out which one is for mine?
western
put the part numbers in google or brit-car & see which one matches your existing gasket.
Retroanaconda
The VIN or at least the registration or age of the donor vehicle would help. I'm not particularly familiar with V8s but I'd suggest that people would be able to advise how the manifolds changed and what fitments are interchangeable in terms of gaskets etc.
Bigj66
I think I might have sussed it as, from what I can read on Google, the last number, in this case LKJ500020, superseded the previous one ERR7306. I think, as they all look the same.
Escape
Confirmed, the valley gasket was never actually changed, just superseded with newer versions (maybe different materials or such). As far as I know, they're all interchangeable, the bolt pattern, water passages etc never changed. Filip
