FridgeFreezer
I've been scanning my piles of old LR mags during quarantine and noticed this classified ad from 2003 - this has to be a rare 2-door that is unlikely to have increased in value;

Eightpot
Didn't it have a wierd camper conversion that had a fold-down bed in the back and some kind of sink in the cubby box? Wrong diddly wrongwrong.
Retroanaconda
Much like his former house in Glen Coe. Last time I drove past it was all boarded up and covered in rather dramatic graffiti.

Wrong diddly wrongwrong. Yes. It could be a good bargain. Just because the car was used by a monster, that doesn’t make the car bad. Strip out the questionable mods, clean it up scrupulously and get a new registration and it could be a good car. I understand why some people would be uncomfortable owning it, given Saville’s behaviour, and the possibility of him using that car to abuse kids, but that is an emotional rather than rational reaction - the car has done nothing. western
A bit more about the RR here, it was in LRO in Oct 2014. https://www.lro.com/blog/news/land-rover/1201/jimmy-saviles-carawagon-
RedLineMike
i understood that it was converted from a carawagon to a "normal" RRC by its owner to help distance it from its connections with saville
