andy _1
Right yesterday I replaced a leaking leak back pipe all good 2 min job finished . I thought I heard a sucking type noise when I removed the pipe , but dismissed it "hearing things" went back to the car 2hours later went to start it it fired cut out tried again same again . Scratching my head ran out of diesel gauge showing half tank . Fourth attempt started running on 1 or 2 cylinder then 3/4. Right its drew air but how I cant figure it out how . I have removed leak back pipes for many cars and never had this. Can someone school me how on the 200 tdi the injectors drew air by removing the leak off pipe I thought that's on the return side confused. Thanks andy
Retroanaconda
It allows the fuel to drain out of the injection pump.

Nonimouse
I find the replacement part for this to be poor. That's the soft rubber, pipe. So I used Mercedes Benz 603 leak off pipes. superb quality
