Fitted a set of mid range leds to my golf, drove it in the dark , got home and put the Osrams back in....

I read a thing recently about Ford's LED headlamps incorporating cameras and lenses so that they would actually switch certain LED's on or off to avoid dazzling oncoming cars whilst still spreading more light (like a high-beam) everywhere else - literally projecting a dark "box" around the oncoming vehicle to avoid dazzle. It's all very silly.

Yeh because stopping people ending up in hospital or the ground is very silly!

I meant silly as in "incredibly complex" rather than "terrible idea, let's blind people instead" :rolleyes:

Well, there are plenty of vehicles with original equipment Led headlights that are dazzling. And as for the mad running light idea, don't get me started...
