ThreePointFive
Good day, Quick question - did P38s have an oil pressure warning light on the dash or even a pressure gauge? I have a P38 engine but no sign of any oil pressure sensors fitted, I'm just a bit surprised that a car like this wouldn't have at least a takeoff for a light if nothing else. Any pointers would be great.

ThreePointFive
Thanks Western, so I suppose my real question is, where would the sensor be installed on the engine, because mine doesn't have anything.
western
At a total guess near or on the oil pump or filter head, item 6 on here
ThreePointFive
I didn't realise it was so high up, the diagrams and descriptions I'd looked at had it much lower/on the filter housing. I'll take another look tomorrow but that's very promising. Thanks Western!
