ThreePointFive
Can anyone say what type of connectors are used in the rear of a TD5 radio? I have a converter to use an aftermarket head unit but I could do a better job of this if I could directly wire in the pins rather than solder/splice them as I have. Some appear to be open at the end while others are closed over. I have searched but couldn't be certain of the right type.
keeley75
I’m a bit confused as to what you are trying to do. But I can tell you to search for BMW radio plugs. That’s the plug used on the td5 genuine loom. It’s pushes then locks in place by sliding the cage down. The radios were made by VDO... ThreePointFive
Thanks but I'm trying to identify the connectors in the plug, not the plug itself. I hope that makes sense.
keeley75
I think... may be worth an email for the male and female Pins https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/product/1961867-new?product=61-13-8-352-
