Con rod nut and bolts

Hi all trying to press on when I can with my 200 tdi rebuild , I'm about to put pistons back in and have now read that I need to use new con rod nuts and bolts which I know aren't expensive but I haven't ordered which means down tools again till I can get some delivered the last bits I ordered took over a week to arrive so I'm thinking are new ones really necessary, thanks for any advice

I only used new nuts on my rebuild 2 years ago, the bolts were fine & it was the first time they had been disturbed since it was built by LR. 

only ref to replacing con rod bolts/nuts in my workshop manual only says retain the con rod caps with new nuts, no mention of replacing the bolts.
