white90
Great time superb company. Facts I've learnt: rough ferry crossings and a fried breakfast followed by a walk outside in the sea spray will leave you with sick in your hair! competitors from different coutries have vastly different thoughts on saftey when doing recoveries: snatch recoveries with chains/winch ropes/kinteic ropes and chains connected. The sat evening display in the quarry( a sight to behold!) was a tad bizzare with some local drumming act being suspended like a mobile 70ft + in the air. the lanes were relativley simple, the trials and special stages were fun, seemed like 60-70% were British entrants. we had some fun geting a 110 Tomb raider under a Low tree and through a narrow tunnel which all added to the fun, where we let the air out of the tyres and removed the roof rack temporarily. next time I'm taking the caravan though.. Budgie
Anyone you know doing the Sunday trial then Tony? and I think this is the tree you had fun with! We didn't make it though the tunnel and managed to find a way round! We were the last vehicle up the second hill on the night section before the SIII rolled and they closed the hill. simonr
It was a good event - I enjoyed it - particularly having some of our forum buddies along this time! Next year - we (everyone from these parts) should arrange to meet up for a beer during the weekend. Si
