I think the female unions usually have a single flare, and the male unions have the bobble, the tool would be great, but single size 3/16" tools are available and would save you about 2/3rds of that price, depends what else you are likely to do with it, but 99% of cars use the 3/16" pipe.

Laser Is a good tools productor in uk not??
Or they import all from china or india?

I personally favour this style HERE, it may be from China as well, but the quality is good.

I looked at the Flare info sheet on here and was amused to see the comments "Flare ID. No less than Flare ID"! Clear as mud, I think it meant Tube ID to be no less than Flare ID?
