Hezb Posted October 18, 2020 Share Posted October 18, 2020 Hope I have posted in the right section and any help will be much appreciated. have what I think is a adwest steering box that had tdci chalked on the side. I don’t know how to confirm that it is a tdci box. All fitted apart from the pipe to the resivior the connection doesn’t seem to fit, I have a 200tdi engine. my question is how do i confirm model of the box so I can get the right connector or is there another way to do this? cackshifter Posted October 20, 2020 Share Posted October 20, 2020 The pipes are absolute swines to fit and have to be pushed in quite hard and dead straight, so the O rings compress; are you sure it doesn't fit? Try loosening the box on its bolts a bit so it can move. I have a box bought new from Adwest with a tdci part number fitted in a 300tdi and it fitted fine where the old one came out, with aforesaid proviso.
