oneandtwo
From what I remember, there were quite a few damaged from crashes due to squaddies coming straight out of 1970’s 2286 powered 109s and straight into Wolfs.
western
Lots of XD/Wolfs got trashed because the drivers weren't used to the vehicles.

western
Well the 300tdi did have 111bhp as a vast change to the previous n/a diesels the military previous 90/LR's had. no secrets just down to the driver knowing the vehicle.
Escape
Maybe they took inspiration from Lotus cars. My Esprit manual states: "Your Esprit Turbo SE is equipped with a powerful engine to allow for fast and safe overtaking." And as everyone surely knows, I always follow the manual to the letter. 😄 Filip
cackshifter
I had a BMW 528i with limited slip diff, and the manual warned that with excessive or heavy use of the throttle in wet or slippery conditions the vehicle may display a marked tendency to rotate about the centre of gravity. They were right, it did. 2
HoSS
I once saw a warning in a BMW manual about the LED's used in the dash lights - that they were emitters of radiation and that you should not look directly at them.. 1

So that's where the Project Binky boys got their Safe-T-Turbo from! Can't have too much safety.

Is that why most BMW drivers don't use indicators, to avoid additional radiation? 😛

Are you sure? Can someone show me where they are? When I drove an Audi, I always had my seat in the fully forwards position just to ensure I was driving as close as possible to the car in front of me... 2
