Falklandislander2003 Posted November 9, 2020 Share Posted November 9, 2020 Hey guys I've got a bit of a dilemma here Im fixing up the old 2.5 110 down here and i put a fresh battery in her yesterday turned the key and nothing was going to put a jump lead straight onto the starter solenoid but not sure if its similar to the 200 tdi suggestions? monkie Posted November 9, 2020 Share Posted November 9, 2020 Check the trace cable from the starter relay as Western says. If that checks out fine run a jump lead from the negative battery terminal to the engine block to bypass the earth. If that works then you have a faulty earth from the battery negative terminal.
