Laptom
I want to install a 4.6 with serpentine frontcover and new waterpump. No problem so far, but where to connect the return of the heater core? The supply comes from a 3.9 hotwire inlet manifold, but the 4.6 waterpump has no return. Escape
You could put a T in the return from the radiator and plumb the return from the heater core to that. Or in the smaller pipe from the reservoir (it's often easier to find a T-pieve with equel diameters). As you probably know, on a 4.6 the thermostat is in an external housing and the return from the heater core goes there (as well as the bypass hose). Bowie69
I have that set up in my RRC, unequal T in bottom hose of radiator, works perfectly.

Laptom
Great advice people. I will use the unequal T-piece in the bottom radiator hose. I have a sensor for the electric radiator fans on the top hose, so that is familiar usage.
