steve_a
if you get stuck you can fit a 334 - i did tonight, something liek 690 CCA and 155 a/h . They didn't have any 072 in halfords, span some dit about how the can't get any and the factory is making them. I needed a battery then and there so just went for the next one that would fit with the terminals the right way around
Andy
most places ive looked at Tdi disco batts they list a 067 or 072 for HD use. i always get 072s but you may have smaller fitted without it being 'wrong' as it were.

TheRecklessEngineer
Don't forget to disable the alarm before you remove the battery Done it too many times and always takes about 5 mins to turn the damn thing off again, by which point the neighbours are poking their heads out the windows giving me evils. FridgeFreezer
It's nice that you think your neighbours stare at you because of the alarm Go to a battery place (and not a Kwik-fit one, a proper commercial place) and just get them to give you the biggest battery that will fit in the hole. TheRecklessEngineer
It's nice that you think your neighbours stare at you because of the alarm You ought to see the looks they give me when I start up the blue thing Normally whilst wearing ski goggles and a very silly hat....
