KEITHB252
Why nearly every day inside my front windscreen is covered in condensation. Anyone got the same problem, every thing is bone dry inside,no leaks.
Badger110
Humidity inside is higher than outside...ie it may seem like it's bone dry inside, but something will be damp, possibly behind the dash?
Bowie69
Carpets.... It is a good way to hide moisture.
Stellaghost
Agree with Bowie especially if its a Disco, floors are very prone to rot regards Stephen
landroversforever
Get yourself a couple of the dehumidifier bags, the reusable kind. Few swaps while one dries out and it will take the moisture out.
swalker
my A6 is the same - lack of use and when i do its wet out so carry in damp on shes etc. Classic car guys go for a sock filled with cat litter, I haven't tried it myself but loads go on about it so must do something. FridgeFreezer
A lot of modern cars run the aircon WITH the heating to dry it out.
landroversforever
Just now, FridgeFreezer said: A lot of modern cars run the aircon WITH the heating to dry it out. Literally just started typing something to that effect. Cars that have the quick clear for the screen often use the aircon too. Even when they've got a heated screen. Even just the aircon on its own will remove moisture from the car.
Nonimouse
I get this with my T4. Utter pita. I bought a compact de-humdifier from those nice Chinese chaps and run it form a mains connection - on a regular basis. Works well
