Edtopp20
Hi all, today I collect my 3.5 Range Rover v8 for my 109 restoration. Most of the wiring is complete but where it goes away from the engine to where I assume the ECU would go has been cut picture attached. Do I assume right that ECU would go on the end of these cables? A lot of the wiring diagrams I have looked at have different colour cables stated which confuses me a bit. Also what is this round plug for? Thanks, Edward. FridgeFreezer
Is that a hotwire EFI setup from a later Range Rover? Don't recognise it from the flapper colours.
Bowie69
I *think* that's P38 or maybe D2 wiring, hotwire isn't like that.
Bigj66
It’s not a P38 Thor as the round plug has 27 terminals. The D2 Thor loom I had didn’t have a round plug. Maybe GEMS? Those wire colours look like aftermarket. Did the donor vehicle run LPG? What’s on the other end of them?
