David Salter
I have just bought this model and it's great so far but there is no model badge on the back which I find is odd. The dealer says this model does not have one but as far as I can see all other models above base do. Nor is there any other identification of the model anywhere I can find on the vehicle. My argument is, suppose I go to sell it after time who would know what it was? Is it within my rights to go back to the dealer and demand a badge as all other manufacturers display the model? Anybody advise please?
Chicken Drumstick
Hi and welcome to the forum. Not all car makers show individual trim levels with badges. Rover cars stopped doing this in the late 1990's I believe. Not really sure what kind of recourse you'd have with the dealer. Can't see that 'demanding' is going to get your far tbh.
Snagger
I imagine they only badge the bigger engined models.
Bowie69
It should be on the V5.
JeremySteel
My P300 SE (delivered November 2020) is badged.
FridgeFreezer
De-badged is classier - if you want badges on the back Halfords have a whole aisle of tat you can stick on the back at wonky angles
