tobes
I have an arb compressor in the 90 that when switched on wont cut out when full. How long should the compressor tank take to fill? Does anyone have any suggestions before i have to replace it? Thanks
will_warne
Mine took about 20 seconds odd and you could tell it was filling as the note of the compressor changed. If its actually filling (ie not leaking somewhere) then the pressure switch must not be working. I'm not really sure exactly where it is on the compressor as I've never stripped mine. Guest diesel_jim
If you look at the top of the compressor, you'll see the one (or two) air solenoids, in between these is the pressure switch, it has 2 spade connectors on it going into the loom. The compressor will run for more than double that time but i cant hear any leaks, it has air in it as it will pump out air when i connect the tyre hose. ciderman
Does it keep running when the locker is off ? , If not it may be the sealing `o` rings worn on the lolypop ring on the diff .
