Classic vent (update)

Recommended Posts

My solution to this problem may be of interest to others.

Using a thin flat-blade screwdriver it's possible to prise the actual vent out of the moulding, rotate it & snap it back in. That way the moulding fits back into the facia the same way up whilst the air flow direction is changed.

Can't think why I didn't suss it out before posting, I guess it's what's known as 'thinking outside the box'

Take care when doing this though, remember this is a plastic component & in many cases an old one (in my case 34 years) so be gentle.
