kevin50 Posted September 18, 2021 Share Posted September 18, 2021 Anyone had any engines from this place /, A1 Reconditioned Land Rover Series 2.25L Petrol Engine (mod-sales.com) A1 Reconditioned Land Rover Series 2.25L Petrol Engine (mod-sales.com) They can go for really high prices , seen them go from 2500 upwards, But not sure what they will be like, Says rebuilt to A1 standard but in 1997 they have them on all the time and the seem to sell well, but is it worth taking a chance ? western Posted September 18, 2021 Share Posted September 18, 2021 Withams are the current MOD surplus disposal agents, those engines would have been through the base repair organisation, & ready for reissue as a direct replacement. kevin50 Posted September 18, 2021 Author Share Posted September 18, 2021 First one went for 1800, second one with bent fan and broken oil dipstick ends tomorrow night, gonna have a go at it, Im sure the fan will be easy to straighten out.
