approx top of the wheel hubs if i remember correctly. the limiting factor is the axle breather pipes, once they go under water you'll need to change the oil in the diffs.

have a look for the breather pipes (black on my 200) & see how high they go then you'll know. from memory the front comes up the nearside of the bulkhead above the hockey stick & the rear goes up the a-frame & stops level with the chassis.

The reason you may have heard different things is that you can drive through deeper water if you create a bow wave at the front of the vehicle. The "wave" at the front of the vehicle creates a "dip" behind it, ie where the air intake is, so if you know what you're doing you can drive slightly deeper water.

But if you're not sure, don't drive it!
