RLF
2003 Freelander, the main brake lights, (not the ones on the bumper nor spare wheel), do not work. All other lights work, including headlight/red tail lights (same bulb). I've checked the bulbs, the connections for continuity, etc. in the rear, and the fuses, all good. So either a wire is broken somewhere up front, before where the wires split to go left and right, or something completely different. I have no idea where to look for those wires up front of the vehicle. As an aside, I'm also having tailgate window regulator issues due to battery disconnection, but I suspect that is an independent issue. Thank you
smallfry
Is the centre brake light on the spare wheel also not working ? If not, I would look at the switch on the brake pedal
