geoffbeaumont
They certainly hold their value! Assuming that's a realistic asking price, which I'm guessing it might well be. You might be hard pressed to find anyone on here who wouldn't buy it for themselves if they've got the money 😉
Arjan
Could somebody identify that recessed worklight please ? Very neat - but I can't find them...

Happyoldgit
If you were around 30, female, attractive, with a willing spirit body to die for and a passion for older men then I may be tempted to splash the cash but certain conditions would have to be met.
Anderzander
It’s nice - I didn’t realise that they held that kind of value. Other than ‘what people are willing to pay’ how do you value these? That must be close to G Wagen prices for the same year.

Bowie69
Honestly, if I had the cash, I would be sorely tempted. Only thing that would put me off would be the possibility of scratching it, or the time it may take to re-sell if I got fed up with it (something all kit cars suffer from, I think).
Gazzar
If I won the lottery, I'd buy the company. With a capital injection, some old school engineering support, I think they could make an attractive mid volume utility vehicle for the UK market, between a defender and a d-max. And they've an electric vehicle under consideration.

miketomcat
They do hold their value. However it probably cost £20-30k to build. The market for them is comparatively small, mainly because no body seems to knows about them. They don't come up for sale very often, this also keeps the value high. When you think it's basically a defender without the rust issues, hence age is irrelevant it's condition that matters. I couldn't afford to buy one but was lucky enough to find an unfinished from the factory and unstarted one cheap. It cost me a lot to build but at least it's in small chunks.
