Paddy_SP
Somewhere buried deep and well hidden in my garage is a pair of rear trim support brackets for my '93 110, designated MXC3277 on the parts list (as shown below) which are meant to hold the bottom front of the window trims in place. Can I find them though? Not a chance... I don't actually want to use the originals as I intend to make stainless replacements anyway - the problem is, that I need some dimensions to work from, so could either do with one to copy or the relevant measurements... My question (plea) is therefore whether anyone here has one that they could either lend or sell me, or - even better, if someone who has one to hand would be kind enough to scribble down the relevant dimensions; I'm happy to make another Ukraine donation in return! Paddy_SP
Thank you - I'd already downloaded the photos from there so that I knew what to look for, but I still need the dimensions!
pat_pending
Hope this is understandable. I measured along the top face. Let me know if you need me to be more accurate, I'll have more time later.
Paddy_SP
Thank you so much - that is much appreciated! Having the dimensions means that I can now knock one up in ally and see if it fits. If it does, then I can reproduce it in stainless. If it doesn't, then at least I'll be able to work out what needs amending and adjust accordingly! Paddy_SP
Thanks - I haven't actually fabricated the brackets yet (too busy trying to rewire the dash binnacle to take Td5 instruments!), but I have made a mock-up in cardboard .
