Matt black grille?

Can anyone point me to a place that sells original looking matt black grilles and headlight surrounds? 

I just want the oem look, nothing fancy, doesn't have to be genuine. Seemingly harder to come by than I thought.

I ordered some that I thought would be ok but they are gloss.

Original grilles have a rough texture but they still have a sheen when new, taking a while of weathering to settle down to matt.  If you can’t wait, you could use some matt black aerosol paint in light coats.  Rustoleum works well.

OK thanks. I would say the ones I've got (britpart) are more gloss than sheen but maybe I'm impatient

Genuine have a grainy texture like 200 grit sand paper.  If the Britpart type are smooth and glossy, they may be intended for painting.

Spray them with Plastidip? Instant satin sort of coating and easy to remove if it looks carp...

I'll be doing that on mine, though admittedly they have 37 years of, um, patina to cover...

I have found this exact same issue...not looked at genuine prices but guess they are horrendous ?

I used Halfords brand load liner type paint for a few bits and pieces and that gives a good texture while being very robust.

Have to say I've not actually tried a dealer but from memory a few places had genuine grille for circa £80 + vat

An aerosol of black Raptor would give a similar result.

The grain effect would be a bit coarser than the genuine parts panels in bare plastic, but I think the finish would look good.

I had this issue!  I very lightly sprayed them with Acetone (which disolves ABS) which left quite a convincing mattness.
