LR90
Sorry Gary, don't have a freelander. Neighour does, glossy back sport model, but doesn't seem keen to bring it out to play
garrycol
Sorry Gary, don't have a freelander. Neighour does, glossy back sport model, but doesn't seem keen to bring it out to play Well at least someone looks at the page Maybe if you acted as a sponsor (ie a recovery vehicle) and took him out he might play. I don't have anyone to play with so I have to take my Disco out first to check the lie of the land before I go out and play with myself in my Freelander - mmmm - that didn't come out right - what I meant to say was - well you get the drift

BogMonster
Not sure those alloys and low profile tyres would be much use in a swamp... I think a hippo should be fitted with Boggers
paul18k
yup you are right, but i guess most hippos are used for the school run so low pro's are fine :-)
Blippie
where have all the Freelander people gone? Too busy off roading to sit at a computer! Picture Cheers Blippie
paul18k
well Blippie, that looks like fun.... do you use yours as an everyday runaround too or is it a weekend toy. it'd be interesting to know if you can punish a car like that and still have it be reliable on a day to day basis, use it the way it was designed for not just for towing a horse trailer :-).... there are three LR's a work that i know of that do the weekend off road thing, a 110 and two disco's but i've not had a chance to speak to them in detail. white90
you two comedians are just too much the 90 is sorted the POS Frelander is gone to pastures new. stupid electrical problems broken sunroof water leaks turbo pipes split all add up to a fed up owner so it went. and coming from someone who backflipped his last 90 that is a bit much PS the CV search ended a long while ago when I got the Ashcroft preproduction ones, prop ok once a bespoke one was made.
