Anderzander
Couple of questions: Would you use 609 for a bearing race that is a little loose? Also - I don’t seem to have much luck with the ones where you pull up to open, they seem to keep drying in the tube even with using the top. So I guess Im asking what the best type of bottle is? FridgeFreezer
Loctite's technical helpline are usually pretty good for questions, including where to buy it for a reasonable price etc. Although last time the loctite rep visited me had had a bad batch that made a horrific sticky mess everywhere, felt quite bad for him!
landroversforever
I've used it on stuff like that in the past at work. It's what we used for a number of assemblies with bearings that needed to be fitted somewhere we didn't have a press or a way of drawing them in. As long as it's not so loose it can move around as it needs no air present to cure if I remember correctly.
landroversforever
And for the bottle type.... I've not had any real issues with the big bottles with the lift up section, occasionally end up with a little solidified plug to remove, but it's always come out with squeeze. If you don't need much, might be best getting one of the little bottles.
