Exmoor Beast
I had an 'auto handbrake release failure' error come up recently. I eventually found a fix for this online so just recalling it here so it may help someone else. It appears its an XYZ sensor problem that can be reset by finding a long straight road, you need to reverse until R registers on the dash indicator thenย engage first gear and drive up through the gears to sixth waiting for the dash indicator to register the gear each time. then stop and turn off, remove the key lock and unlock the doors. Key back in and turn on the ignition, problem solved! Woohoo, a free fix! ๐ you owe me a pint if this helps. Will ๐

Only other fault to date has been a leaking fuel filter, stupid bayonet fitting shook itself loose. Easy fix if a little messy.
