What does this number 24438512B tell me ?

Rear Diff gave up so I need to replace it.

Found a front axle - nothing is known about it.

This is the diff :

Looks in good usuable condition ?
 

Do these numbers tell us anything ?

This is just for entertainment purposes (.....)

I removed the rear diff of the Hybrid last night as it stopped working in a rather spectacular way while towing a trailer...

It seems some bolts worked loose...

Hope to replace the diff tonight for another one.....

It came apart in a rather noisy and vibrating way and I must say it made for an interesting evening..

Quite a bit of oil came out, with quite a bit of debris, when drained to remove the diff.

However, I'm not sure about the axle breathers doing what they should do over the decades so i'll take this moment to fit these :

On the OneTen they work fine...
