Red Bison heated windscreen kit - opinions?

Hi all,

I did search first but came up with nothing...

I've got a heated screen in my TD5 but I've not quite got round to getting it wired up. Now it's getting colder it's probably time I got that sorted!

I'm not great with electrics and I don't have lots of time to spend building my own loom so I've been looking at the ready-made options.

the Red Bison "computer controlled" fitting kit with genuine TD5 switch looks like a good option and is cheaper than the other alternative which seems to be the Britpart-type "wires and relays" kit.

Has anyone used one of the Red Bison kits? If so, has it been reliable?

Here's the wiring diagram you need, a couple of relays, a switch and some wires.

But as you say, if you haven't the time, it maybe easier for you to buy a kit.

Yep, much as I'd love to while away a couple of hours with the crimpers and soldering iron I've got plenty of other things that I could better spend my time on, hence looking at ready to fit kits.

Plus I'd like to fit a proper TD5 switch, which the kits come with  👍
