Bowie69
Most likely a CV joint is dead. Doesn't happen when hard left as well?
Stephanie
No just on turning full right so which side would I need to replace as it sounds like it's coming from passenger side 🤔
FridgeFreezer
Check your anti-roll-bar links, they love to wear out and clonk and are a cheap 5 minute fix compared to a new CV.
Stephanie
I will do, it sounds like it's clunking from the back aswell. Don't think anything has been replaced from the factory!! How hard is it to change the tank strap on a driveway. Can't afford to take it to a garage as just replaced all 5 tyres and brakes all round. Bowie69
Tank strap is awkward with lots of penetrant spray, and extensions, my brother did one recently, he wasn't very happy about it and had to cut at least one of them off carefully....
Stephanie
Would the CV joints cause vibration when driving
FridgeFreezer
12 hours ago, Stephanie said: Would the CV joints cause vibration when driving Unlikely - if it's speed-related above ~50mph it's most likely unbalanced wheels. Could also be knackered UJ's or bearings/mountings on the propshaft. Some tyres wear in funny patterns on 4x4's, especially if you don't have identical tyres all round.
smallfry
Rear Differential mounts ? That always used to be a favourite.
