I will do, it sounds like it's clunking from the back aswell. Don't think anything has been replaced from the factory!! 

How hard is it to change the tank strap on a driveway. Can't afford to take it to a garage as just replaced all 5 tyres and brakes all round.

Tank strap is awkward with lots of penetrant spray, and extensions, my brother did one recently, he wasn't very happy about it and had to cut at least one of them off carefully....

Unlikely - if it's speed-related above ~50mph it's most likely unbalanced wheels. Could also be knackered UJ's or bearings/mountings on the propshaft.

Some tyres wear in funny patterns on 4x4's, especially if you don't have identical tyres all round.
