bishbosh Posted January 29, 2007 Share Posted January 29, 2007 I know it is theoretically possible and I have even got a parts list , but has any one actually done the converison from 10 spline to 24 spline? If you have, do you know how much it costs? IS it a load of hassle? Is it worth selling on the 10 spline centre and buying a new 24 spline centre? Only reason I am vaguely considering this is because the only source of 10 spline shafts is GKN and they are spendy. istruggle2gate11 Posted January 29, 2007 Share Posted January 29, 2007 I had the same situation and decided on going for shafts, I know the GKN's have mixed views, but Ive had a 3 year run so far, but only run on 33" tyres. If I remember rightly it cost me £150 more for the shafts than the ARB conversion, but at the time I was running a series as well, and liked the option of keeping the 10 spline.
