Hazza
Just to close this topic - my issue was actually larger but simpler than expected. Seems my fuel tank breather was missing a check valve, meaning that when the tank was full and temperatures rose it pushed diesel up the breather. This would have caused a leak on the floor had I not joined all breathers in a manifold so that I only had one breather running up my snorkel. So what has been happening for 'some' time is that this diesel has seemingly been draining back down the breathers for the gearbox, transfer box, and axles and slowly filling them. It seems that this increased fluid level was forcing fluid out of areas which typically don't see this volume of oil(& diesel). Fresh fluid changes all round, check valve installed, and I seem to be leak free. Is there any lasting damage? Who knows...
