My idea was to use a ‘step-up converter’ to have a slightly higher voltage at the fan and to make it stronger. I never realised it. My experience with el motors is, they tolerate higher voltages very good if you don´t exceed revs to much. They will get destroyed machanically then. When I remember right, the fan is supplied with 12V. Current is going thru the fan, when the switch contacts directly or over a resistor to ground in the dash. So there is only 1 cable to supply the fan and it shoult be easy to push it with a step up converter up to lets say 15V.
