Pyrover Posted February 10, 2007 Share Posted February 10, 2007 Discovered this bodge when replacing the rear cross member on my 110, shortly after buying it. What your looking at is a plastic cap (the type which is used to seal carboard tubes) rammed into the top of the fuel tank where the petrol pump used to be (converted to 2.5NA). What I don't understand is that they went to all the trouble of converting the 15J (sherpa) engine to 12J spec (i.e. sealed timing belt cover) but then do this to the fuel tank..!?
