Maverik Posted Tuesday at 08:14 AM Share Posted Tuesday at 08:14 AM As far as I am aware they should be interchangeable, with no difference i.e. if its got a black plug then they are all the same type - they didn't change any of the wiring to the switches. I believe that the mountings are the same for both early column switches (as well as for the late 300Tdi/TD5/Puma type with the Sumitomo 6-way connector). The wiring for the intermittent function isn't present on earlier vehicles - but can be added by using the later column switch with link harness PRC8295 and the intermittent wiper relay AMR2341.
