MrsJ
Hi, we are having a tidy up and have an old trailer that we want to dispose of. There is a plate with possible details on but its been painted over. Google searches on number plates tells me it could be a 1975/1976 army trailer. Its quite rotten in places so not sure if it has any value for restoration or whether its too far gone. Tyres have since pumped up and held but one wheel/brakes are stuck. Any advice or ideas of value, if any, would be great. Thanks in advance for your help. Chris Davies
They are Sankey trailers, this one is a mk1 also referred to as a narrow track, although yours looks a bit rotten in the tub the chassis are usually pretty solid and are still quite popular as a base for an 'expedition' or 'overland' trailer. Value wise, I'm not very up on them these days but have a look on ebay at some completed 'sankey trailer' listings.
FridgeFreezer
That's a Sankey trailer and even in very bad condition they're worth money to someone - I'd chuck it on eBay and see what you get.
